basic Part

The current basic Part include particle emitters. Compared with common special effects, particle emitters have better degrees of freedom and can debug more types of special effects.

Press and hold the left mouse button on the particle emitter to drag it into the scene;

The default particle emitter effects are as follows:

The adjustable properties of the particle emitter are as follows:

  • Transmitter type: point type, box type, ball type or cylinder type can be selected, each type of transmitter needs to set different launch areas;
  • Position: Set the displacement size of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Rotation: Set the rotation amount of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Unlimited particles: After checking, the maximum number of particles is unlimited;
  • Emissivity: the power of particles emitted per unit time, the larger the value, the more particles are emitted;
  • Angle range: the range angle of particle emission, the larger the value, the wider the emission range;
  • Visible: Set whether to temporarily hide the display of the special effect Part in the special effect editor, but whether it is visible or not, each special effect component will be displayed when the special effect file is applied;
  • Map: select the material map of the particle;
  • Color blending mode: alpha lighting or high brightness lighting can be selected;
  • Opacity: Set the opacity of particles;
  • Glow Effect: When checked, the particles will produce a glow effect;
  • Size: Set the height and width of the particle;
  • Scale range: set the scaling ratio of particles;
  • Color Mode: When a single color is selected, a single color can be selected; when a color gradient is selected, a gradient between two colors can be selected;
  • Speed range: Set the emission speed range of particles;
  • Acceleration: Set the acceleration of particle emission;
  • Rotation angle range: set the rotation angle range of the particle itself;
  • Health value range: set the duration range of particle existence;
  • UV flip mode: select no flip, flip U, flip V, flip U and V;
  • UV interchange: UV interchange can be performed after checking;
  • U animation speed: set the animation speed of U;
  • V animation speed: set the animation speed of V;
  • 3D Particles: After checking, it can be set as 3D particles, which does not rotate with the camera’s perspective;
  • View Offset: Sets whether the orientation of the particles is offset with the viewing angle.
