Common special effects

The special effect editor currently provides users with five common special effects production templates: explosion, flame, smoke, spark, and weather; users only need to adjust a few simple parameters to create their favorite special effects.

Press and hold the left mouse button to drag the effect into the scene;

The special effects dragged into the scene will appear in the special effect structure, and a special effect file can be composed of multiple special effect modules.

explode

The default explosion effect is as follows:

The adjustable properties of the explosion template are as follows:

  • Position: Set the displacement size of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Rotation: Set the rotation amount of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Inner flame color: Set 3 inner flame colors of the explosion flame;
  • Outer flame color: Set 3 outer flame colors of the explosion flame;
  • Strength: Set the strength of the explosion;
  • Range: Set the size of the explosion radius;
  • Visible: Set whether to temporarily hide the display of the special effect Part in the special effect editor, but whether it is visible or not, each special effect component will be displayed when the special effect file is applied;
  • Loop: Loop playback is enabled by default, and you can set the loop interval and whether to reset the loop.

flame

The default flame effects are as follows:

  • Position: Set the displacement size of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Rotation: Set the rotation amount of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Inner flame color: set the 4 inner flame colors of the flame;
  • Outer flame color: Set the 4 outer flame colors of the flame;
  • Heat: Set the heat of the flame;
  • Size: Set the size of the radius of the flame;
  • Visible: Set whether to temporarily hide the display of effect Part in the effect editor, but whether visible or not, each effect component will be displayed when the effect file is applied.

smoke

The default smoke effects are as follows:

The adjustable properties of the smoke template are as follows:

  • Position: Set the displacement size of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Rotation: Set the rotation amount of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Color: Set the color of the smoke;
  • Ascent speed: Set the speed at which the smoke floats upward;
  • Size: Set the size of the smoke range;
  • Opacity: Set the opacity of the smoke;
  • Visible: Set whether to temporarily hide the display of effect Part in the effect editor, but whether visible or not, each effect component will be displayed when the effect file is applied.

spark

The default spark effect is as follows:

The adjustable properties of the spark template are as follows:

  • Position: Set the displacement size of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Rotation: Set the rotation amount of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Color: Set the color of spark particles;
  • Particle Size: Set the size of spark particles;
  • Spark Intensity: Set the injection intensity of the spark;
  • Visible: Set whether to temporarily hide the display of effect Part in the effect editor, but whether visible or not, each effect component will be displayed when the effect file is applied.

weather

The default weather selection is “snow”, the effect is as follows:

The default rain effect is as follows:

The adjustable properties of the Snow/Rain template are as follows:

  • Weather type: snow or rain can be selected;
  • Position: Set the displacement size of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Rotation: Set the rotation amount of the special effect X, Y, Z axis;
  • Snow particle size/raindrop size: set the size of snow particles/raindrops;
  • Intensity: Set the density of snow particles/raindrops;
  • Speed: Set the speed at which snow/raindrops fall down;
  • Range: set the size of the snow/rain area;
  • Visible: Set whether to temporarily hide the display of effect Part in the effect editor, but whether visible or not, each effect component will be displayed when the effect file is applied.
