Basic operation

camera movement

In the scene window, the camera can be controlled in the following ways:

  • Move the camera: the W key moves forward, the S key moves backward, the A key moves left, the D key moves right, the Q key moves down, and the E key moves up, and the mouse wheel can also move the camera forward or backward.
  • Rotate the camera: Press and hold the right mouse button and move the mouse.
  • Focus Objects: After selecting an object in the scene, press the F key to focus the camera on that object.

In the upper right corner of the scene window, you can set the speed of the camera’s movement:

Select function

Activate in toolbarselection tool, click an object in the scene window to select the object, orHold down the left mouse button and drag the mouseto box-select multiple objects, you can alsoCtrl+clickto select multiple objects at the same time.

Transform tool

The editor provides 3 transformation tools: move tool, rotate tool, and scale tool. You can use these transform tools to visually adjust the position, size, and orientation of objects.

After activating the move tool, select any object that supports moving in the scene, and you can see that the axes of red, green and blue appear in the center of the selected object:

  • Drag the red axis, it will follow theX directionMove the selected object.
  • Drag the green axis, along theY directionMove the selected object.
  • Drag the blue axis, it will follow theZ directionMove the selected object.

In the upper right of the scene window, you can set the minimum movement distance for each movement.

Rotation tool

After activating the rotation tool, select any object that supports rotation in the scene, and you can see that a circle of red, green and blue appears in the center of the selected object:

  • Drag the red ring, it will go aroundX axisRotate selected objects.
  • Drag the green ring, it will go aroundY axisRotate selected objects.
  • Drag the blue ring, it will go aroundZ axisRotate selected objects.

At the top right of the scene window, you can set the minimum rotation angle for each rotation.

Some objects do not support rotation, such as area objects, falling objects, etc. When these objects are selected, the transform toolwill reset to selection tool

zoom tool

After activating the zoom tool, select any object that supports zooming in the scene, and you can see that the axes of red, green and blue appear in the center of the selected object:

  • Drag the red axis, it will follow theX directionZoom the selected object.
  • Drag the green axis, along theY directionZoom the selected object.
  • Drag the blue axis, it will follow theZ directionZoom the selected object.

Some objects do not support scaling, such as falling objects, etc. When these objects are selected, the transform toolwill reset to selection tool
